ESI Processing Cost Reductions |
First Look Capability
eDI enables corporations to analyze data and fine tune the selection criteria and thus reduce the amount of ESI that needs to be processed. This significantly reducing litigation costs. Features include:
- Advanced keyword review – Using eDI tools to create keyword lists by using actual project data greatly reduces the amount of irrelevant data that might otherwise get processed.
- Date, Doc Type, and other Section Criteria – Allowing knowledge experts to look at segmented data BEFORE processing to ensure that it is a TARGETED set that will be highly responsive.
Topic clustering: Linguistic algorithms automatically organize documents into specific topics and enable clients to quickly analyze documents related to a particular topic.
- People analytics: Analyze individual and group-to-group communications within the company, with customers, suppliers, and/or partners. Clients can easily access a list of top custodians for a search or monitor communications between regulated and non-regulated divisions within the company.
Pricing
- Cross-Project tiered pricing – The cost per unit decrease as more data is processed.
- One-time Processing fee - Regardless of how many times a document is selected for processing, clients only pay for it one time.
Process
- Advanced culling tools, strategies, and keyword creation – Using advanced methods, eDI targets the data and obtains a higher percentage of relevant data. This culls out worthless data and thereby greatly reduces attorney review costs.
- Previous Review Population/Removal – eDI’s system can use previous re-use work product and reduce future expenses. For example, if a document has been marked as “Work Product” on previous matters, the document can be withheld from review on future data sets.
